Building the Creator
Economy Floor at TechSparks 2026

Blend×Tessarakt×YourStory
October 13–15, 2026 Bengaluru India 2030: Powered by AI

A proposal to add creative entrepreneurship into India's most established startup gathering.

02
The Gap
A 19-year-old in Patna can edit better than many junior agency hires. She learned it on a borrowed phone.

She does not know where that skill fits in the market, who hires for it, or what it pays. That is not unusual.

India has millions of young creators building skills in animation, editing, gaming, design, and storytelling without a clear path to income.

The infrastructure around startups is mature. The infrastructure around creators is still fragmented.

TechSparks has spent years building rooms where founders meet capital, customers, and media. This proposal adds a new layer to that room.

03
Why This Matters Now

Three shifts have moved at the same time.

+ Policy

₹650 Cr committed

₹250 Cr toward Creator Labs and ₹400 Cr toward the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies. Creative industries now sit inside state and national policy.

+ Technology

Production economics changed

AI has reset what a small team can produce. Work that needed full studios two years ago can now be done lean.

+ Distribution

Reach already exists

YourStory has reach, trust, and institutional access through TechSparks and Bharat Project.

The pieces exist. What's missing is an operating floor where they connect.

04
The Three Workstreams

Three separate asks.
Three separate agreements.

1

The Pavilion

Blend builds and runs the creator economy floor inside TechSparks.

2

Production

Tessarakt leads end-to-end event production for TechSparks 2026.

3

Sponsor Support

Tessarakt and YourStory test a structured sponsor onboarding and sales support model for selected categories.

Each workstream can move independently. Together, they create stronger alignment.

05
What the Pavilion Is

A dedicated creator economy floor, built inside TechSparks.

Live studio work Creator-led workshops Hiring interactions Capstone showcases Sponsor integrations
The goal is simple: convert creative skill into visible economic opportunity.

For YourStory

A new business line in a category that is already expanding.

For Blend

A national operating platform.

06
Why AVGC Starts First

AVGC is the right first vertical because the ecosystem is already active.

  • Curriculum demand
  • Employer demand
  • Policy support
  • Visible outcomes

Blend already operates in this space across Animation, VFX, Gaming, and Comics. Studio relationships already include:

DNEGTata ElxsiRed Chillies VFX ToonzNazaraGraphic India

The first build needs depth, not width. AVGC gives that.

07
Why Blend Is Positioned to Build This

This is not a concept being tested for the first time.

Current capabilities
  • Active creator communities
  • Working curriculum
  • Studio relationships
  • Live event execution
  • Brand partnerships

TechSparks becomes the scale layer.

08
Pavilion Business Model

Designed as a revenue-generating unit.

Revenue LineModel
SponsorshipBrand-led activations
TicketingPremium workshops / access
Curriculum UpsellAdvanced paid programs
Studio HiringTalent sourcing fees
Content LicensingRecorded sessions / IP

The event is the entry point. The operating model continues beyond the event.

09
What Attendees Will Experience

The Pavilion fits directly into the existing event structure.

Day 1

Discover

Creator showcases and live demos.

Day 2

Build

Capstones — short films, playable prototypes, comic builds.

Day 3

Monetize

Jobs, hiring, and creator monetization pathways.

This keeps the Pavilion integrated into the larger event instead of functioning as a separate island.

10
Expansion Plan

Growth follows operating performance, not just geography.

Phase 1

TechSparks Bengaluru.

Next

Mumbai · Delhi NCR · other YourStory city formats.

Then

International YourStory events · a recurring creator economy floor across annual properties.

11
Tessarakt as Production Partner

Tessarakt proposes to run event production across TechSparks 2026.

Scope
  • Floor build
  • Stage production
  • Logistics
  • Live operations
  • Partner integration
Operating proof
Blend BazaarBlend HackOtaku Festival

Live, multi-day, ticketed formats with sponsor and audience complexity already managed.

TechSparks is a larger room, but the operating discipline is familiar.

12
Sponsor Support Pilot

Structured as a pilot.

  • Selected sponsor categories
  • Onboarding support
  • Partner packaging
  • Activation support

Tessarakt already works across brand ecosystems including:

OpenAIMicrosoftNVIDIA DellHPAdobe

The pilot allows both sides to test fit before expanding scope.

13
Why YourStory
Nearly two decades building trust around entrepreneurship. This extends that into creative entrepreneurship.

The advantage

  • Access to new sponsor categories
  • Access to younger creator audiences
  • New talent economy coverage
  • A scalable event format inside existing properties

Adjacent, not from zero

This is adjacent to what YourStory already does well. It does not require building from zero.

14
Commercial Structure

Each agreement is independently negotiated.
